There are two ways a
Services.Signal can be recorded against a
RECEIPT. Emitting a signal is from the
self perspective — the service is recording and informing other observers (services) of
an operation or outcome. When an observer observes a signal within some message response
or event notification it uses
RECEIPT to record it against the identified
service within its
Services.Context. Receipt of a signal should be taken as being generated
in the past whereas emit is the present moment assuming discrete time stepping.
